Expert repair and servicing for Bosch Solution 2000, 3000, and 6000 alarm panels. We diagnose faults, replace components, update firmware, and restore your Bosch system to full working order.
We service the full range of Bosch alarm panels installed across Adelaide, from current models to older legacy systems that are still protecting thousands of properties.
Residential Entry Level
The compact 8-zone panel commonly installed in Adelaide apartments and smaller homes. Common repair needs include battery replacement, keypad faults, and zone wiring issues.
Residential / Small Commercial
Australia's most popular Bosch panel. We see these daily across Adelaide and carry common spare parts on hand for faster repairs.
Commercial / Large Residential
Bosch's flagship commercial panel with up to 144 zones. Repairs often involve access control integration issues, automation outputs, and multi-area programming.
After years of servicing Bosch panels across Adelaide, these are the faults we encounter most frequently and how we resolve them.
Bosch keypads can develop unresponsive buttons, blank or flickering LCD screens, or intermittent backlight failures over time. These problems are almost always the keypad unit itself rather than the panel.
Our fix: We test the data bus connection first, then replace the keypad with a genuine Bosch unit if confirmed faulty. We carry common Bosch keypads in stock for same-day replacement.
A zone fault on a Bosch panel means a sensor on that zone is reporting an abnormal condition. This could be a broken reed switch, a damaged PIR detector, a cut cable, or a loose terminal connection.
Our fix: We test the zone end-to-end using resistance measurements and visual inspection. The faulty component is repaired or replaced, and the zone is walk-tested to confirm normal operation.
Bosch panels use a sealed lead-acid backup battery that lasts three to five years. When it fails, the keypad shows a battery fault and the system beeps periodically. The panel also loses all backup power during mains outages.
Our fix: We replace the battery with a genuine or equivalent sealed lead-acid unit, reset the fault, and verify the charging circuit is functioning correctly to ensure the new battery charges properly.
Bosch panels communicate with monitoring stations via IP (B426 module), GPRS (B442 module), or legacy phone line (PSTN). Communication faults mean alarm signals are not reaching the monitoring centre.
Our fix: We diagnose whether the issue is the communication module, network connection, SIM card, or monitoring station configuration. We repair or replace the faulty module and verify signal delivery with an end-to-end test.
External sirens and strobes can fail due to water ingress, corroded wiring, or a blown siren driver on the panel. A faulty siren means your alarm triggers silently, which defeats the purpose of a local alarm.
Our fix: We test the siren circuit from the panel output through to the external unit. Faulty sirens are replaced, corroded connections are repaired, and we verify the full alarm trigger sequence including entry and exit tones.
Bosch wireless sensors (Radion range) can experience low battery warnings, signal loss, or pairing failures with the panel's wireless receiver. Environmental changes like new furniture or renovations can also affect signal strength.
Our fix: We check signal strength levels at each wireless device, replace batteries, re-pair devices if needed, and reposition the wireless receiver or add a repeater if range is marginal.
Keeping your Bosch panel firmware current ensures you have the latest bug fixes, security patches, and feature improvements. We also upgrade older Bosch panels to current models when repair is no longer practical.
Upgrade to Solution 3000. Reuse existing wired sensors. Add wireless expansion and smartphone control via the RSC+ app.
Upgrade to Solution 3000 or 6000 depending on zone count. Existing wiring is compatible. Keypads will need replacing.
Upgrade to current Solution 2000 or step up to Solution 3000 for more zones and wireless support. Straightforward swap.
For properties that have outgrown their Solution 3000, we upgrade to the Solution 6000 with expanded zone capacity, access control, and automation integration.
Bosch systems require specific knowledge and tools to diagnose and repair correctly. Here is why Adelaide property owners trust us with their Bosch alarm service.
We work with Bosch Solution panels daily. We know the common failure points, the correct diagnostic procedures, and the right replacement parts for every model in the range.
We use genuine Bosch replacement parts including keypads, communication modules, wireless receivers, and batteries. This ensures compatibility and maintains your system's integrity.
We use Bosch's A-Link Plus and RPS software for panel programming, firmware updates, and event log analysis. This gives us full diagnostic capability that generic tools cannot match.
We carry the most commonly needed Bosch parts on hand, including backup batteries, Solution 3000 keypads, and B426 IP modules. This means many repairs are completed in a single visit.
We will not replace a whole system when a $50 part fixes the problem. Equally, we will tell you honestly if your panel is end-of-life and a replacement is the smarter investment.
After every repair, we walk-test all zones, verify siren operation, check communication paths, and confirm the system arms and disarms correctly before we leave your property.
A battery fault means your backup battery is failing and your system will not stay powered during a mains outage. While the alarm still works on mains power, you should get the battery replaced within a few weeks. If you experience frequent power outages in your area, treat it as more urgent. We can replace Bosch panel batteries the same week you call.
Yes. If you have lost the installer code or the previous security company will not release it, we can access the panel using Bosch's official procedures. Once we have access, we reset the installer code and provide it to you so you always have full control of your own system going forward.
Simple repairs like battery replacements start from around $120 including parts and labour. Fault diagnosis and minor repairs start from $165 for the service call. More involved repairs such as keypad or communication module replacement depend on the specific parts needed. We always confirm the total price before starting any work.
If your Solution 844 or 880 is still working, a minor repair may keep it running for a while longer. However, these panels are discontinued and parts are becoming scarce. They also lack modern communication options like IP reporting and smartphone app control. Upgrading to a Solution 3000 reuses your existing sensor wiring and gives you a current, fully supported system with much better features.
Bosch panel firmware updates require a direct connection to the panel using specialised programming tools, so they need to be done on site. Remote programming of user codes and some configuration changes is possible on panels with IP connectivity, but the firmware itself must be updated locally. We schedule firmware updates as part of a service visit.
First, check that your internet connection is working if your panel uses IP reporting. If the issue persists, the communication module (B426 for IP or B442 for GPRS) may have failed, or the monitoring station configuration may need updating. Do not ignore communication faults as your alarm triggers will not reach the monitoring centre, meaning no one is dispatched in an emergency. Contact us to diagnose and repair the reporting path.
Describe your Bosch alarm fault and we will get back to you with a clear diagnosis plan and pricing. Fast, honest service across Adelaide.
